The problem
Being good used to be enough. A referral came in, you did the job, the next one came. Then they slowed, and there was nothing underneath.
Ten years in. Clients who say you're brilliant. A rate that hasn't moved in two years.
Every job turns up by luck. When referrals slow, there's no lever to pull. Just waiting, dressed up as patience.
Not what the work is worth. Great output, quietly discounted, because you didn't want to lose the job.
The proposal goes out. The reply never comes. The month you planned for disappears.
You've tried the obvious things. Posted more. Bought a course. Put your rates up and watched a client walk. Did any of it change where the next client comes from?
The right people don't know you exist, and the ones who do aren't sure you're the one. At premium rates a client is paying for certainty. Certainty can be built. That's the whole programme.
I had been surviving on referrals for my entire 15-year career. When prospects contact me now, they say I read their mind with the language on my website.
Phase 01 · Foundation
We find your burst pipe, the one problem a client will pay well to fix, and price it on what it's worth. Then your profile gets rebuilt so it sells before you've said a word.
Phase 02 · Pipeline
Your Dream 30, warmest first: past clients and people who know you, then the new people you want. Messages a real person would reply to, and the five moves that take a reply to a booked call.
Phase 03 · Convert
A discovery call that diagnoses instead of pitches, so you can say your number and hold it. Then a second call where you walk them through a one-page proposal with three options, so it doesn't vanish into an inbox.
Phase 04 · Authority
Three kinds of post, each with a different job, then your first seven. Written for the buyer rather than other designers, so the right people message you first.
Phase 05 · Momentum
45 minutes a weekday, a plan for the next 30, 60 and 90 days, and a clear view of what you've built and where it goes next.
The plan
The Client Pipeline Method™, in five phases. What you'll learn and build in each one.
Phase 01 · Foundation
Three frameworks for a positioning statement a buyer gets in one line. Your burst pipe, the problem a client will pay well to fix, and an offer built around it. A profile rebuilt as a trust funnel: headline, banner, about, featured, booking link.
Phase 02 · Pipeline
Your Dream 30: the 30 people most likely to hire you, sorted by how ready they are. Warmest first: past clients and people who know you, then new connections. The Five Moves that take a reply to a booked call. And the Alternative Pitch for people who've never heard of you: spot a gap in their business and show them something useful, for free, before you ask for anything.
Phase 03 · Convert
A discovery call that diagnoses instead of pitches, so you can say your number and hold it. Then a second call where you walk them through a one-page proposal with three options, so it doesn't vanish into an inbox.
Phase 04 · Authority
Content that makes the right people message you first. Three kinds of post, each with a different job: one gets you found, one builds trust, one asks for the conversation. Then your first seven posts, written for the buyer rather than other designers.
Phase 05 · Momentum
Everything you've built becomes a routine: 45 minutes a weekday, a plan for the next 30, 60 and 90 days, and a clear view of what you've built and where it goes next.
Why this works
Look, a client paying premium rates wants three things to be true: you've solved their problem before, you'll charge what you're worth, and you'll deliver. The Sprint makes all three true.
Most designers fight over the few buyers already searching. The rest have the problem and haven't started looking. A profile that names it, and comments where they spend their time, make you the designer they know before they need one.
Your profile, your posts and your DMs do the proving. So when someone books, the call starts at "how", not "who are you".
The two-call system qualifies before it sells. You spend the call deciding whether they're a fit, and they already know you are.
45 minutes a day, every weekday. The profile you fix first and the people you reach next are still bringing replies in month four. Nothing you build switches off.
Since I changed my LinkedIn it's been insane. This course has been the best investment I've ever made.

Two live calls a week, one-to-one time with me in between, for four months.
Where this goes
It does one job: clients from LinkedIn. Once they're coming in, the problems change, and I keep working with you on those.
Step 1 · The Sprint
The Client Pipeline Method, in five phases: foundation, pipeline, convert, authority, momentum. Four months, USD $1,000 a month, until the pipeline is a routine you run yourself.
Step 2 · After the Sprint
Once clients are coming in, the work changes: sharpening your DMs, your posts, your pricing and your packages as you grow. Most people stay on. We talk about it when you get there.
For now there's only step one.
Meet Huw
I started in 1999 at a record label in Box Hill, across the road from my old school. CD covers for hip hop and dance acts, about $28K a year. Felt like a million bucks.
Then fifteen years in packaging. Schweppes, 7-Eleven, Hungry Jack's, Mondelez, Coles. Good work, big brands. And the lesson that changed everything came from an interview I didn't get.
The agency had just won Cadbury. The guy loved the folio, every page of it. I didn't make the next round, because I hadn't done chocolate. It was never "can you do the work". It was "have you done exactly this before".
That was the day I understood what a client buys. Certainty.
My last job, 2012 to 2016: senior designer at a small studio in Cremorne, the main designer on Philip Morris, about $85K a year. Walking distance from home. Long unpaid hours on a brand I didn't believe in. And design at night on the side, flyers for my dad's Welsh choir, the odd referral, the same way half the designers reading this are doing it right now.
In 2016 they made me redundant. Client work on the day: none. Honestly, the best thing that ever happened to me.
Six years of freelancing followed. Studios and in-house teams first, then more and more my own clients. Some of those years cleared six figures. Over $500K in design fees across the six. I'm not telling you that to impress you. I'm telling you because all of it ran on skill, referrals and luck, and I never knew which month the phone would ring.
Then the 2020 lockdown. I'd been watching Ruby Lee do video on LinkedIn when nobody did video on LinkedIn. One lunchtime I walked up and down my street in Box Hill for ten takes, no script, and posted the worst video I've ever made. "I'm Huw. I do brand and websites. Fifteen years. Get in touch."
The next morning a consultant I'd never met sent me a message. A brand and a small site, about $2,000, done in a fortnight. A small job. It changed everything, because it was the first client I'd ever won on purpose.
What followed wasn't a straight line, and I won't pretend it was. I taught myself copywriting from books and podcasts. I posted, commented, connected on purpose, messaged anyone who engaged. I sent proposals that got ghosted. For a long time I believed content got you clients. Slowly I learned that conversations did, and that a stranger needs a short call before they'll trust you with a long one. Every piece of The Sprint came out of those years, tested on my own business and rebuilt through every change LinkedIn made.
In June 2021 I started coaching designers one to one, $2,000 for six months. Amanda in Brisbane and Riley in Sydney were the first. Amanda's since gone full time and hired staff. Riley went from $70 an hour to $10,500 in packages in one week. Felice came later and landed the $45K project you read about above.
That's when it clicked. Every one of them had the skill already. What they were missing was the thing I'd been missing for fifteen years: a way to make the right person certain, and a process for doing it every week.
The Sprint is that process, run live with a small group and one-to-one time with me on top. Six groups so far in 2026. And none of it is salesy. I sell the way I'll teach you to sell: ask real questions, diagnose the real problem, offer the fix. If "salesy" is what's been putting you off, you're in the right room.

Client results from LinkedIn
A years-old referral he priced, packaged and grew using the Sprint's selling system.

Thanks to learning from you how to build the profile, comment and post.

One outreach conversation, plus $5K a month in recurring revenue.

Talked to the founder of an agency and got an $8K retainer. It was super quick and simple, I can barely believe it.

Both new clients that month were past clients who came back after seeing her on LinkedIn.

Up from £350, on the next negotiation.

In their words

“He has helped me increase my annual earnings by at least 40%, whilst also helping me set healthy boundaries with my work.”

“What would have taken me years to figure out has taken me less than 6 months to do.”

“Raising my prices, getting rid of bad clients. I would never have done that before this course.”

“I finally feel like a proper creative business owner, not just a freelancer trying to keep up.”

“Being able to sum up what I do in a sentence without it feeling awkward. I've struggled with that for years.”

Investment
One premium project at the rates members end up charging covers it. Kiara's did, and that's her below.
$1,000USD a month, for four months. Or $3,500 paid in full.
Start this week. Small group, plus one to one. No tiers, no upsells, no hidden extras.
Straight off the rebuilt profile, at the price she set. One project like this covers the four months, three times over.

The guarantee
It's not a refund guarantee. I'm not interested in selling you the option to quit. Do the work, turn up to the calls, follow the framework. If you haven't had that conversation by the end of month three, I stay on at no extra cost until you do. That's my risk, not yours.
How you're supported
Live calls, one-to-one time and my eyes on your work, every week for four months.
One for the UK and Europe, one for the US. Teaching, review and your questions. Every call is recorded and in the group within 24 hours.
An onboarding call when you start, and another once your positioning and profile are done. Between calls, I'm in the group every day.
Your profile, your outreach messages and your posts, reviewed by me in the group before they go out.
A small group working through the same problems as you, in the same room, keeping each other going.
What happens on the call
You tell me where the business is at. I tell you what I'd change first. You leave with that either way.
Before you book, please read the Terms and Conditions and the Refund and Cancellation Policy. The Sprint is non-refundable for change of mind, so I'd rather you were certain going in.
Honest questions
USD $4,000 for the four months, billed as $1,000 a month. Or USD $3,500 if you pay in full before you start. One price, no hidden tiers.
A 45-minute call with me. You tell me where the business is at, I tell you what I'd change first. If the Sprint fits, you can start that week. If it doesn't, I'll say so, and you still leave with the plan.
Four months. Foundation first, so your positioning, offer and profile are set. Then pipeline, sales and content, with me, until they're a routine you run yourself. After that you can stay on month to month.
There's no intake date. If we're a fit you can start the same week. The call is free and commits you to nothing.
Yes, though not a refund guarantee. Do the work, turn up to the calls, follow the framework. If you haven't had your first premium client conversation by the end of month three, I keep working with you until you do.
Experienced freelance designers earning $4K+ a month who are tired of depending on referrals. Not for beginners, agency owners, or anyone looking for a LinkedIn growth course.
Same. The Sprint teaches the opposite: real conversations with people you can help, a call that diagnoses instead of pitches, and follow-up that adds value instead of pressure.
No. Every session is recorded and in the group within 24 hours.
Huw Davies: 23 years in design, from 1999 to 2022, based in Melbourne. I coach every member myself.
By then your positioning is set and your profile is rebuilt. Outreach, content and sales are a weekly routine. Most people stay on month to month, and the work shifts to sharpening: your DMs, your posts, your pricing and your packages as the business grows.
I sell the way I'll teach you to sell: a real conversation, a diagnosis, no pressure. Either way, you leave with the plan.
